I have never met a baby as smiley as Rosalee. I have to say that Newborn photography is such a joy, babies are magical, perfect, and so sweet. Rosalee was all of those things plus beautiful and smiley! I can't wait to see what a happy little girl she will become! Smiley Rosalee and her beautiful Mama...

Baby Jolene has finally arrived smart as a whip and of course beautiful! Her parents, Jessie and Mike, are so incredibly in love with her and hanging out with this new little family was just an amazing and loving experience. I always ask couples what they call their baby when we do Maternity shoots, that way I can say something like; "look down at Peanut", instead of "your belly". Couples always have the sweetest sometimes even hillarious and always clever little names. In Lindsay and David's case it was "Wolffy" after their last name Wolff, which I think is adorable! They have chosen to wait to find out if their little wolffy is a girl or boy until he or she comes into the world. I think that is so exciting! Either way we know that Wolffy is going to be absolutley beautiful and I can't wait to meet the little gal or guy! Lindsay and David, thanks so much for letting me, once again, capture such a special memory! I'm so excited for you both!!!

My Best friend Melis, the confidant and bff of my high school years and the only person I ever created a "language" with, has gone and created one of the most precious things I've ever laid my eyes on! Of course she had a little help from her stand-by-me man Adam. But I mean, seriously you guys, when they say, "The best of both of you", they're talking about your beautiful daughter Brooklyn, or Bryn as her Auntie Kris will call her. I am so happy for you guys and I can't wait to get some shots of Bryn and Maddie together. My heart beams when I look at these photos of your new little baby girl; she's perfect!

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding or a more amazing couple to photograph and wrap up such an awesome wedding season!!! Thank you guys for being such an inspiring couple with so much love between you! These two love birds wed at Lambert's Cove Inn on a wonderfully sunny and crisp Fall Day. There is something special about the late afternoon light on the Island in October; it's magical just like Emily and Nathan's love for each other...
Terri & Mike keep getting asked what their favorite part of their New England vacation was...well here it is! Surprise, they got hitched! Just the two of them on a perfectly gorgeous Vineyard day as the sun drenched Menemsha waves softly crashed onto the beach near their feet... they said "I do"...
Amy & Ryan are expecting, very soon, and I was lucky enough to photograph them before their bouncing baby girl or boy arrives! I can't wait to photograph their family portrait and the little one soon. Did I mention that Amy looks amazing!!! Thank you Amy and Ryan for letting me capture such a special time in your lives!
Actually it was late afternoon and the light at the farm was amazing, Morning Glory Farm that is. We had a blast picking pumpkins and running around to find the perfect spot with Liz and Colin, and of course Shrimp; their cute as a button lil' pooch! I love when couples agree to be fun and goofy; you'll see what I mean when you get to the pumpkin photos... I am always goofy at heart! I love to meet couples who balance eachother out perfectly, Lindsay and Shane do just that and I knew the moment we started working together at their engagement shoot this Summer. Alice and Brant tied the knot on one of the very first days of Fall here on the island. There is just something about the crispness of the light in September on the water that is so magical. I couldn't help but notice how this magic perfectly mirrored the magic between these two, totally in love, love birds. It was impossible to get a bad photo of Alice and Brant! You two are awesome together!!!

You might recognize these two gorgeous love birds from their engagement post this summer. The first thing I noticed about Emily and Jay was that they are incredibly sweet together; I would be getting my exposure ready and thinking of a direction to give them and then look up to find them in the sweetest embrace chatting and holding on to each other and I would just start photographing with a huge grin on my face. They are so comfortable in eachothers arms. They married on the tip of East Chop between the Lighthouse and the Ocean with bouy bells and ferry whistles in the background, it was beautiful. The entire day was perfect and it couldn't have been perfect for a better couple. Emily and Jay, I'm so glad I was able to witness you two marrying each other; it's an amazing thing to watch two true loves become one.
I think you can tell from the sheer amount of photos in this post that I LOVE these little girls and of course their parents! Vinnie and I don't just consider the Stearns family as our friends but also as our family! These two sweet peas are awesome and we had a blast running around the farm on Katama chasing them, Geoffrey the gentle Horse, and Maggie (who can catch anything) their adorable dog. Thanks Gals for a great morning and being so damn cute!
Gabe is my all time favorite subject! We have a few years of protraits under our belts so this time we were ready to tackle the boats and docks and stinky lobster pots of Menemsha! As usual, Gabe rocked his portrait session!

There would be no better place than Chilmark for these two Chilled out Love Birds to tie the knot! Kate and John are the sweetest, nicest, most adorable couple; and there friends will back me up on that one!
